Okay, I've looked on Wiki, asked around all the hotspots ingame, and got loads of general information about a guardian skill, general titles, and tyria itself when i browsed the FAQ and used the search feature...

What is the "Guardian of Tyria" title? What is the "hard mode" it refers to?

I know for a fact it is not the level 20 pre-searing "Defender of Ascalon" title people keep going on about. In my hero monitor, in the titles tab, I looked at my Protector of Tyria track earlier and the description has changed. It now reads:

"You will earn the title Protector of Tyria once you complete both the primary and secondary objectives of all 25 missions on the continent of Tyria, and the title Guardian of Tyria once you complete them again in hard mode."

Can anyone shed some light on this?

This was put in in the update today, so no one really knows what it's for yet.

It was added today? Oh, right...why isnt it in the gameupdates at http://www.guildwars.com/support/gameupdates/ :S

Why didn't the vbulletin search feature highlight the obvious posts in the Riverside Inn board?

I looked on my ranger who has the protector title and the extra part about hard mode didnt show up. I looked on my necro that doesnt have the title and it did. very strange.
